Before You Book 👑 Thank you for choosing Crowned by Myah! My goal is to provide a professional, relaxing experience while helping you maintain healthy, beautiful locs. Please review the policies below before booking your appointment. Booking Availability • Appointments are released up to 1 month in advance. • If you don’t see an available appointment that works for you, feel free to text me to check for additional availability or join the waitlist (coming soon). Booking Guidelines • Please book the service that best matches your needs. If you’re unsure which service to book, text me before scheduling your appointment. • Please select the correct estimated loc count when required. • Crochet maintenance, loc repairs, excessive new growth, matted hair, thinning locs, or detached locs must be booked under the appropriate Crochet Maintenance & Repairs service. Some services may require a consultation before booking. • Monday appointments are available by request only and require a $50 convenience fee. Appointment Preparation • Shampoo/condition is included with all services. • Please arrive with all previous styles taken down. Takedown services are not included unless booked separately. • No extra guests or children unless previously approved. Late Arrival Policy • A 10-minute grace period is provided. • Please text me as soon as possible, if you are running late. While I appreciate the communication, it does not guarantee that your appointment can still be accommodated. • If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled to avoid delaying the remainder of the day’s schedule. • If your appointment is canceled due to arriving more than 10 minutes late, 50% of the remaining service balance will be due before any future appointments can be scheduled. • Repeated late arrivals or no-shows may result in future booking requests being declined. Deposit Policy • A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. • Your deposit will be applied toward your remaining balance. • Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received. • Deposits may be transferred one time if you reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment. The new appointment must be scheduled within 7 days of the original appointment date. • After one transfer, a new deposit is required. Payment & Location • Your appointment location will be sent in your confirmation email after booking. • The remaining balance is due at the end of your appointment. • Accepted payment methods: Cash and card (tap, chip, or swipe). Service Adjustments • If your hair requires significantly more time or work than the service booked (including excessive new growth, extensive repairs, severe matting, incorrect loc count, or additional maintenance), your service may be adjusted and additional charges may apply. • Any price adjustments will always be discussed with you before the service continues. Photos & Content • Photos and videos may be taken during or after your appointment for portfolio and marketing purposes. • If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please let me know before your service begins. Cancellation Policy

clients may cancel or reschedule their appointment through the glossgenius link in their confirmation email up to 48 hours before their scheduled time. rescheduled appointments must be moved to a new date within 7 days of the original appointment. cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours of the appointment time will result in a forfeited deposit.
